North west Louisiana to be more specific.
Picking up my new boat
tomorrow
Bought a 22' Veranda and can't wait to get on the water. This looks like a great site for getting ideas, learning, and sharing. Glad to be on board.
Now I'll try uploading a pic
At the dealership the day I put the deposit down, kids already on board checking it out

Welcome! That looks like a very nice set up! Congrats on the purchase.
I've been here only a short time, but everyone has been very helpful with any questions i've had. Great forum to be a part of.

Welcome to the site. That's a great looking crew you've got there. I'm sure they'll be even more excited when you get in the water.
Raising a cold one to great times!

Hey Roland, looks like we're neighbors, I'm in the Blanchard area as well
Thanks for the welcomes gentlemen! I got it parked at the house this morning
Now I've got to get it stocked with the gear, and hope the rain chances for the weekend back off

Bluecollarpilot.... I'll be damned... it does look like were neighbors.... From your pic I "think" i recognize the neighborhood, but I could be wrong... I live in Indian Hills off of Chickamagua.. you anywhere near there... it's right off old mooringsport road...... don't know what lake you plan on using, but we use Caddo almost exclusively... Alot people here go up to the launch in Oil City at Earl Williamson park, but several time's I've launched there I got my motor gummed up and had to run fishing line thru the pee hole to clear it out.. for the most part we launch at Mooringsport by the KCS bridge, (if you know where that launch is)... It's nice and deep right off the launch, plus it's in a cove and kinda protected from the wind.... we need to get together - with you here that now makes at least 3 of us that live in the same community that own toons... again, that's a good looking boat, I know you're ready to hit the water!!!!

When I lived in Blanchard I used to launch at a private ramp at the end of State Line Rd. You are only a very short distance from the channel going up to Uncertain.
One of my favorite trips was to launch at Hwy 43 and make the run up to Jefferson Tx--fun trip and you can walk into town from the Jefferson landing.
Enjoy your boat.
