New here-just wanted to say Hi :)
Hi all,
After much looking and debating pros and cons of older vs newer, I bought a 2006 Tracker Party Cruiser. It sat in my driveway for a month while I was modifying the interior (namely the galley) and now it is finally in the water. I took out the forward-facing bench seat so I could extend the counter top and install a mini fridge. I will reveal the purpose of this later... for now I just wanted to introduce myself (I'm Julia, BTW).
Cheers!

Yea! Another PC32 in the club... I have one too and have made several modifications to it as well.
First to go was the port-a-potty, then the shower, tanks and all. I installed a marine head complete with 30 gallon holding tank and pump out. Next was to install cabinets in the head and repaint. The stupid dinette was very impartial... I turned the seats to from a couch along the wall and move the table mount to the center of the walkway; this made a much longer bed for my tall wife. I have added another 3' corner seat w/storage below in the rear stateroom (back of the glass door) and another 4' table to play cards on with 4 people. Replaced anchor light with a 6' high fold down flag pole with a real anchor light on it. We like to show the colors and cruise the lake after dark.
After last weekend big 4 of July bash out on the lake, I found the dash lights were just too bright and I had to cover them with a towel and I'll install a dimmer switch soon. I'm holding off on tearing into galley until later, I plan on trashing it and building in something more modern with what I need to have... New rear canvas and bimini top will be coming soon.

Ya, I know... The guys on the RV forum say; if you don't have the pics to back up your story, then it never happen... We're heading up this weekend for a party and I see what I can do.

For your dash lights this works real well. On our Regency the light like yours were so bright we threw a towel over them. I did the red ones

Re: New here-just wanted to say Hi :)
Thanks to all for the kind comments. I can't post the pic of the inside because it is still work in progress. I was silly enough not to take a "before" pic... oh well, I'm sure someone has a picture of a stock galley.
OK, I guess I'll reveal what I am doing to this thing. I am turning it into a coffee boat. Like a mobile espresso cart on the water. We have many fishermen, kayakers, houseboaters etc here in Seattle and I thought it would be nice to supply them with fresh properly prepared Joe
I installed a 90" corian countertop in place of the original formica, and put a 4.3 cubic foot mini fridge under it. I was going to use my 2 group espresso machine but it runs on 220 volts and uses 3380 watts and I just don't want to have a generator big enough to run it and all the other stuff (fridge, blender, grinder, even though I realize they won't all run at the same time). I will use my one group 110 volt machine now (it is 1800 watts plus 300 for the pump) so I can stick with my Honda EU3000i which was installed by the dealer when the boat was new.
Funny enough, the color of the new countertop looks like it was made for the boat (yes, I'll post a pic soon).
I would very much like to extend the roof all the way across the boat (yes, to the front AND back) but I don't know how that would make the boat handle-I don't want to make it top heavy. If anyone has extended their roof in either direction, maybe you could post a link to the thead showing how you did it... ?
And if anyone on this forum lives in the Seattle area, come visit me on Lake Union this summer

Re: New here-just wanted to say Hi :)
Extending the roof shouldn't make the boat top heavy. The 2009 and 2010 PCs have the roof extended over the stern sleeper. It's mostly aluminum framework with a plywood roof, then covered with rubber RV sheeting. I would have extended the roof on mine over the rear sleeper but Cheryl likes it the way it is...

Man I really like those party huts. That was my second choice when we were lookin for our current toon and when I get all 5 kids grown up and finished with tubing and skiing I'll start looking for one of those . Very comfy and cool....
