Florida has now passed a law banning the importation of boa constrictors. The owners of these snakes have to register them like dog tags so they can keep track of them if they set them loose. We import so many species like lion fish, walking catfish, piranha, and others that are nothing but nuisance to our environment when they are let loose. They should ban all importation of those types of pets. We have enough problem with our alligators to worry about large snakes.

I read somewhere that hurricanes can blow them from the Caribbean up to south Florida.

So... let me get this right.... After confirming the constrictor did not have a hunting license, are they gutting that snake, *just* to see if it got a doe or a buck?

Yeah I heard they aren't bad eating. I've tried Muskrat, so I guess it's not much different.

I ate barbequed nutria when I was in South America. Not bad tasting with a little gamey taste. I guess it's how you prepare it.
