Hurry up and wait sucks. And not in a good way.

Damn you, Covid.

Got the new deck fit and tacked down. 4mb image is apparently too larger to attach. Stopped for the day since the ribs were ready to come off the smoker and the Virtual Kentucky Derby is about to start.

a little bit of progress over the weekend. Went a little overboard on screwing down the rear deck so came up short or self tappers. Tried to find some at the big boxes and no luck. Guess I will order another sack from Pontoonstuff.com.

never could find the light insets and the 3D print shop wanted a lot of $$$ to print them. Have a buddy up in NJ that is handy he told me to send it up to him and he would see what he could come up with. Got this pic yesterday. He said he still has some cleaning up to do but thats the rough version.

Slow progress, but progress nonetheless...
I think this winter I will either replace the tin on the fence or send it to my buddy that owns a body shop and have him repaint it.

We replaced the tin on our fence ourselves. Took our time and were very meticulous. It turned out quite good. The key was getting the right tools - electric aluminum shears (gotta have!) and watching a number of videos to see any possible issues we would encounter. Once we got the process down, it went quite smoothly.

In fact, I am open to selling my shears. :donno
