Not sure if you like them, have you seen the chair covers/mat that is made up of round wooden balls tied like 1 inch apart? My buddy has them on his Capt chair and loves it, he is bigger and seat sides squeezed him. I think it is comfy, makes side transition a lot smoother
Google wood ball seat cover, get a cheap one to try, don't leave on boat, uv kills the threads, can most can even be cut down

I still have not decided if I had it to do over again would I get all three chairs being the Ivory and red without arms rests though I have toyed with the idea of calling and seeing if they would swap out.

I did exactly that, actually. Originally I got the white reclining captain's chairs with the armrests, but when I placed them on the deck they just didn't jive with the setup like I thought. PS was incredibly generous with their assistance in swapping out to the burgundy style ones you have (although mine are white/blue). Return shipping was not bad and they even helped with the restock fee. The PS folks are awesome.

Mine was done 100% with fishing in mind, not cruising, so that was part of the reason I swapped. I just felt the armrests and recline was just not necessary in my case once I got to see the setup in person. Kept the same bases, the swivel and height adjustable ones so that functionality remains. Mine being only a 20 footer, six of those big recliners were overkill.

Yours is looking great so far, looking forward to the rest of it!

if only you were closer I could have bought some used seats oh well. I actually considered a flip flop for captains seat if it had been insulated I probably wood have.

I insulated mine with pink outdoor foam board worked great. I got tired of always standing up to let someone grab a beer or worse being the beer bitch on the whole toon!

I ended up using the red/ivory chair as my captains chair and I find it really comfortable. the only issue I have is i had someone put the interior together for me (part of the sale of the boat) and the chair is a little too close to the helm for me...i'm 6'5" and all legs. I have the chair adjusted all the way back but i still have an issue getting my knees past the helm easily. also when I stand up I wish the seat is back a little further. knowing what i do now i will be handling any alterations to my boat myself.

decking trim is mostly on. Need to get some bolts where they previously had rivets. Fit together fairly good with a iittle tweeking. Metal worker on railing and paneling did not work out.

Your new carpet looks just like the OEM carpet in my toon. It’s very comfortable to walk on and looks great, but I wish we had the grass cloth vinyl or similar. I spent most of last Saturday on hands and knees at anchor scrubbing every square inch of the floor. I used automotive spray carpet cleaner, brushes and towels. It had gotten so dingy in the marina that my son even complained about it needing cleaning. It looks like new now, but it was a lot of work.

Holy Cow I was not prepared for how difficult it would be to get metal siding off. They did not want this to come off. In addition to the top and bottom slot. They had double sided tape on top and bottom. As well as staples and rivets going down the tubes.

I sure hope it goes on easier than it comes off. I started being gentle ended up getting a big hammer.

Got all the staples out though I"m struggeling to get the metal siding in place. tried sliding in and got to about the curve and it was locked in tight. Started trying to bend down the lower tab to fully open so that I could just drop it in place but man it's tough to bend going to look all ratty as much as I'm going to have to bend it and not sure how well it will go back if at all.

I've cleaned it, opened the flange, reduced the width of the paneling, sprayed it wd40, ended up bending a panel trying to get in. I fear the fence is just to rough.

Considering Solution.
Pound the bottom flange as flat as possible. Insert metal into top flange and fasten the bottom of metal on top of the bottom flange with metal screws or rivets.

Anyone know if Screws or rivets work better?

Need to order vinyl trim.
