Sunbrella fabric for seats?

#1 Post by WKP » Thu Jul 29, 2021 10:28 am

Hi, all. I'm remodeling a 2008 SunTracker and changing the layout. I plan to build my own seats and use removable, Sunbrella fabric covered cushions. I've been on a number of larger vessels (yacht-sized), and most of them have fabric cushions in their sunpad / cockpit areas.

The boat will be stored in a covered boat house, so no worries about sun or rain. Anyone used fabric for theor seats?

Thanks

Yes, Sumbrella is amazing, not hot, won't stick to it and repels water and dirt. I did patio furniture on the toon with Sumbrella cushions. Love them, but trailering is a pain as the cushions take up the entire bed of the Avalanche.

Thanks! We don't expect to trailer ours, so that shouldn't be an issue.
