new Mercury 150 4 stroke trim gage

#1 Post by gramps » Wed Jun 20, 2012 7:52 am

My boat is in for it's 20 hr check and one of the things that need to be fixed is the trim gage. They couldn't get it to work properly and said it was something to do with Digital vs analog from motor to gage.

Do you have this same motor and if so does your trim gage work properly?

Hi Gramps,
When I took delivery of my Bershire I was informed that the trim gauge will not read completely down. The delivery guy said there is a software problem with the digital stuff. I have a Merc 200 verado with the digital throttle system as well. They told me that Merc is aware and when there is a fix they would let me know. I'll let you know if I hear anything.

I just received my sensor convertor in the mail from my dealer. The dealer said that it was back ordered. I plan on putting it on tommorow. It came with instructions and it looks like it shouldn't take more than 10 minutes to install
