My boat rides rock solid and with the lifting strakes that are on it I can adjust my motor where the front end of boat is actually a little to high when seated and driving.
Berkshire does a unique job with the skinning on the boat and it steers very good.
I don't know what it would do for your boat, but it works great on ours.

The BP1 package is a great mid-line package, but it is very the different from Tri-Fecta package offered on Forest River boats. The full center tube lifts the rear quite a bit when you get in to the larger motors, and depending on the length of the boat would raise the rating to 300hp. It moves the fuel tank forward slightly (although going from 31 to 51 gal. might off set that) and gives you another 2 lifting strakes. The unique under skin can't hurt either.
Just one boat...after another, after another :-)
