With batteries being so heavy and bulky, the boat would probably have a range of about 2 miles. Weight is more of an issue on water than on solid ground.

Probably another green idea that will go down the drain in the real world. The battery weight, the recharging hook up, etc, etc. :donno

Story has about info as we got from goofy on taps fins, Silver Springs has been using electric boats for 20 years, but then there not going far or very fast

How about in the air? How about "weight" in a helicopter?

Check out this example of what can be done with Modern Battery Technology.
Keep in mind that this is a 6 year old video and the technology improves constantly.



You might be underestimating what can be done with modern battery technology. :thumbsup

When you have an embedded you tube, copy and search the title, then click on video found and use the non embedded link

BIG QUESTION how long will it run? Looks neat but my dock is 1/4 mile from an electrical outlet? I noticed they made no statements about range and recharging time! :donno :donno
