Toon-Brite ??
I'm taking delivery of a new Crest 230FC next week. Having it bottom painted as wee speak. I saw a product called Toon-Brite Protective Clear Coating... Anyone have experience with it ?

I've used it, but I sold the toon at the end of the season so I don't have long term info. Initial impression is that it does the same thing as Shark Hide for a LOT less $$.

I used it after I polished all of my rub rails and trim on my fence pannels so they would stay shiny. I Preped it exactly the way the can said and I am not sold. The problem I have is that it comes off real easy. If I had coated my whole logs and had this was to happen in spots I wouldn't be happy. I was able to bend the pre polished and coated pieces around my radious on my fence corners and it flexed just fine no issues but will come off where you would never expect it to. 3m blue tape will pull it right off. I found this out when i was laying out my graphics on the fence. I would like to try the sharkhide to see if it works better. My issue may just be becasue it's highly polished, but either way a bummer to have to redo all the work !

Only trouble with Shark Hide is it kills some of the shine, but it does work and last.

I only did my toons, and they were new factory anodized (never in the water). Personally, I had no issues in my short season and man clean up was a breeze! No acid washing, just power wash the funk off. I wonder if the polishing effected it
