Depend on whether you are going to do the work or have it done by a certified tech. I'm no good at that kind of stuff, plus I don't have a trailer to get the boat off the water, so I have the local marina do it. So far, I've had the 10 hour and 100 hour oil changes done. I'm not at home right now (in South Padre Island, TX for the month), but I believe the 100 hour oil change was right about $230 and change.
I asked about changing the impeller and the marina owner said the Yamaha impeller was much sturdier than most of the others and it could probably go about 250 hours with no problems. He also said the oil change interval for Yamaha was 100 hours, which means that at present usage I'll only need to change it every other year.
The other thing I will change on every oil change is the fuel/water separator. If it's done when changing the oil I think it'll add about $50-$75 to the bill.
Hope that helps.

I don't put a lot of hours on the motor, since we normally only run about 5 to 7 miles from the launch and fish.... as a result I have the motor ( 75 hp Yamaha 4 stroke ) serviced only once a year... this year it was a right at $429.00 and that included getting a new water pump put it.....Normally, without the water pump the service would have cost me between 275 and 300.

I do my own maintenance, and bought 6 quarts of oil, an oil filter and a quart of lower unit lube--about $40. I've found marine supplies are at many WalMarts, and they're substantially cheaper than dealerships. In my case, I was doing the 20 hour initial oil change. Yamaha doesn't even spec out a filter @ 20 hrs., but it was a small amount for the filter.

It took approximately 30 minutes to do the maintenance. And, even someone that's not mechanically capable can do such a small job with no problem.

I too plan on yearly maintenance at the rate of hours we put on a boat.
