humminbird transducer cable help

#1 Post by jasonsamko » Sat Feb 23, 2013 5:25 pm

Im about to order a humminbird 386ci combo for my 2013 sylvan 8522 tritoon and want to know if i need to order an extension to mount the transducer on the portside toon. They make a 10 foot and a 30 foot extension cable.
Thanks,

Does it come with any length of cable at all?
I'm not sure what size your toon is but I think your may come up short with only 10 ft unless it comes with some.

check around your local fishing/marine stores, you may be able to buy the extension after you find out how short you will be
21 ft Sweetwater with a 90 E-tec, looking a bit beat up

Going to the port side you will probabley need a little extra. I ran a little short on my 21' and had to make some shortcuts in the run that I didn't care for. Will extend it this year.

With the humminbird transducer, you will likely need the 10' extension. I needed it on mine.
