Spring cleaning

#1 Post by Ron Burgundy » Tue Mar 05, 2013 7:40 pm

Spent some time on the 'toon today. Started cleaning up the interior and helped my father in law change his oil. I still need to clean my hulls, tune up the motor, and a few other items. Felt good to be messing around on boats again. My littlest guy got some fishing in too.

It's going to be 65 this weekend, and I'll be down near Lake Cumberland....but my toon will still be in storage in Louisville....I think Curtis sums up my sentiments fairly well

My bad guys. I figured it was 70 and sunny everywhere. 8)

This is how we changed the oil. Toons are very versatile.

Spring cleaning doesn't start until mid April for me, although the marina opens on March 31st. We have upwards of a foot of snow coming this weekend and folks are still ice fishing on my lake, but it should opening up pretty soon here.

I hate Ron's posts. Makes me miss home. If I'm not mistaken that's Three Rooker Bar in his avatar. I was married on my boat anchored there on the east side. That little island was my home away from home every weekend for 25 years, lots of good times. Still haven't adjusted to my new climate after 5 years. But hopefully will be back on the water by the end of the month.

That's actually the north Anclote Key sandbar in my avatar. Just a few miles north of three rooker bar.
