we have easy fenders... bought 6, 3 for each side of the toon.... yes, there are other products out there that do the same thing, but the ez fenders are by far the easiest to adjust the fenders with... I see your point about not being moveable since they are screwed into the rails, but that is the only negative thing I would say about them... and to me it's not really a negative... we decided to buy our ez fenders after we pulled up to a tri level dock at a lakeside restaurant last summer... when we pulled up, we had to tie three separate fender ropes, all to different heights to accomadate the tri level dock...took a few minutes for each one... now, we pull up and just adjust the rope length and tighten down the thumb screw and were done... all three adjusted in less than 1 minute... plus the ez fenders are pretty much bullet it proof, will last forever...... on the rare occasion that I need a fender where I don't have an ez fender mounted, I just do it the old fashioned way, just hand tie it to the rail... but that rarely happens....

I purchased 2 pair and love them. Mounted them on the inside of the rail. That way no problem with the cover. Also just purchased 3 more pair and got to say Bryan is a great guy. He sent them to me before I even send him the check. Now that is service have never had anyone do that. Most want the check to clear before they will even ship. Thanks Bryan and the check has been mailed.

No problem, Bob! Thanks for the comments, guys. I guess I should chime in somewhere here. In the last 6 years I have sold over 5000 of these critters and had one complaint. That was about a rusted thumbscrew, probably 5 years ago. So I ditched the iron oxide screws and went marine grade stainless, because of that one issue. I have had a few customers loose thumbscrews. So, I started putting extra knobs in the packaging, just to let my customers have as spares, in case a "Oh Crap!" happens. I am tooling up to notch the threads so they can not come all the way out now, also. As far as cover wear through, I have had them on 2 boats now and have had no issues, myself. I have heard alot of concerns about it, but not seen it happen yet. It depends on where and how you mount them. If its in a tight spot, you may toss an iron on patch on the cover above the EzFender to prevent it from happening, if it is a concern.
I used and lost alot of plastic ones, a few still had bumpers attached. So... ta da....The EzFender was born!

We have no problems tying knots and probably will continue to do so. I think I can tie a knot faster than I can thread a rope.

I'm not saying let's go kill all the stupid people.. I'm just saying let's remove all the warning labels and let the problem work itself out.

We're good knot-makers too but our guests are NOT. The old adage, "if you can't tie a knot, tie a lot" comes into play when I'm at the helm and the guests are hanging the fenders. Untying THEIR knots is an ordeal, to say the least. That was another big reason for getting EZ Fenders.

bryan is a great guy and this is a great product. Never met him before, purchased a used Premier toon and he was down for the weekend.. he came over and went on the test drive with me. showed me around the boat and I absolutly love this boat and his fender hangers. I have a lot of guests coming down.. and they can all help get the fenders ready when we are pulling into Dog Days for that refreshing beverage.

great product.

Keep using the plastic ones!

I have rescued 3 of them this year with the bouys still attached.

Throw the plastic in gargabe and I keep getting new bouys!!

Even though i dont think i have ever used them before. If I stop somewhere i usually beach in the sand.

Sorry guys, I am completely sold out and I have halted production. I am looking at possibly redesigning and starting again in the future, but with the overtime I am incurring with my "real" job at the plant. Its just impossible to keep up with normal activities, yet alone run a side business until we get some new hires trained and in place. Or I retire and can devote my time to the Ez business. I just sold my remaining inventory to PontoonStuff, I know Ty would be more than happy to fill your needs.
Thanks Guys! Tough decision after 5 years, but if you do need anything EzFender related, give me a yell!

If you are looking for cheap.... look at the cheap crap I use to keep my big fenders attached. Never lost one yet. About $2.00 total for the two pieces - Velcro strap from West Marine and cheap carabiner from Academy.
