I towed a 96 corvette on an aluminum featherlite trailer from Knoxville, TN to Bowling Green, KY with a Sonoma. Made that trip 3 times round trip. I also went from Knoxville to Atlanta round trip twice. I used trailer brakes, common sense, good loading, a good brake controller and had no issues.

OP, I forgot to mention that when I pull mine it seems like the wind is less of an issue when I tow it with the cover on it. Even so, wind has never been a problem during my limited towing of this boat.
