I have been using 303 for about 7 years now. It works for me.

I buy a gallon at a time and refill a spray bottle.

We just bought our first toon and the seat backs have mold spots. Have tried everything possible to remove it. Help!! Don't want to have to buy new seat backs-retired and broke. Thanks,Ed

I had mild mold on my seats and the vinegar mix seemed to take it out.

I sometimes use a magic eraser for spots that won't come off with regular cleaner. Then always re-treat with 303 or equivalent.

How does the magic eraser do on the vinyl?

I have been using 303 products since my seats were new. American soft trim gave me a small bottle of the cleaner and protectant along with a long list of stains and how to remove them from the vinyl. My boat is stored under a car port and even with it open to the air mold can still grow it it's been real wet for days in a row. To deal with tough spots especially in the corners and seams I use a old soft tooth brush along with the 303 cleaner. Just a couple minutes for it to soak and it falls off with a little gentle scrubbing. A cloth normally works but its had to get into the details.

Does a good job, I don't think there is any bad effects from it, as I only use water on the magic eraser.

I noticed too that along the playpen in the back, that the small amt of carpet that shows through is green....ii know that's probably because that side is usually shaded by the dock. But im a bit more worried when I saw a plant growing out of it.
Snickers that just depends on what sort of plant it is.... :rofl

When I do my fall clean up I use a 50 / 50 mix of water and a product called purple power in a spray bottle then use a pressure washer to clean the carpet Their may be some thing in the purple power that stops the moss from growing I just dont get it and my boat stays on a slip 10 mouths out of the year.
Hawker, I know this is an old thread. But did you use this in a power sprayer? Or just spray on by hand and clean. I am getting mold like crazy. I use the power sprayer last weekend and was able to get the mold off, but it is just a matter of time and it will be back.

I agree!. White vinyl seat on our boat - my opinion of clean did not equal that of the previous owner. Wife and I spent and entire day on nothing but seat cleaning. started with the magic erasers then used a vinyl/leather cleaner - spray on wipe off (I think form Mothers) then a vinyl conditioner (I think from Vinylex). After all that the seat felt better than my leather couch at the house.
