#1 Post by curtiscapk » Sun Oct 26, 2014 4:30 pm

Me and the dog are heading to the lake tomorrow to close up. Hopefully I get my list of to-do's done. all the wheelers need winterized, lost's of stuff on THE FLOATER I wasn't able to get done that I never seem to have time for.. Updates to follow.

Well I sure got a lot done! It is so much different being at the lake alone! No one asking questions needing you to do something..... :paranoid My patch job on the ripped cover didn't do much good. I had a lot of leaves and damn acorns to clean up. The new cover from PS is a better design but not quite as heavy duty as the last one. I hope this one doesn't split as well. The elastic rope and strap locations were much better on this version though.

I got all four wheelers running and winterized.
Campers sealed and covered and winterized.
Bimini struts on.
Windshield trimmed for fishfinder and installed.
ezfenders mounted on bimini frame for flag holders (works up or down)
secondary ladder clips mounted behind Captains chair.
And a nice long wheeler ride down to the lake. A couple brews some target shooting doesn't get better!

Sounds like a great weekend to get a little piddling done with projects. Really like the mod on the windshield for the fishfinder. Since you got your campers all covered, I guess you don't do any winter camping?

Great pics :thumbsup

Thanks I was hoping there was a way I didn't have to cut it, but there wasn't. I may have to trim a little more off, not sure I like the angle of the FF.
If we go in the winter its a day trip to take out the wheelers for a run. Usually we have the power meter taken out but this year we are leaving it. Maybe we can do a warmer winter weekend but I doubt it! We love the heat!

That must be tuff to leave all those toys bundled up there by themselves. Looks like you did a good job on the mods and the new cover.

yep RCG it ain't easy we usually go down once a month to ride. First weekend in January if we aren't covered in ice and snow is always a fun one!
