Sad day

#1 Post by Gonefishing » Sun Nov 23, 2014 9:18 am

While I finally took the toon out of the slip and cleaned it up for the winter. All covered and inside the shop. the good thing is there will be a few days when I will be able to take it out. Winter is cold here but throughout the winter we have a few days when you can go out. I take advantage of those few days and hit the water. keeps me from going crazy waiting for summer. All will be good I am going to make some changes on the cover since I added the full Bimini top. The cover needs some modification to go around the other brackets for the second Bimini top. I fell sorry for those of you who don't have those few good days during the winter. Like my northern family gets cold, snow and stays that way till April/ May.

Winters can be rough up here but shoveling and plowing snow takes your mind off of going on the boat. The local dealer did have a food drive this weekend . Bring in a couple cans of goods and get boat show tickets for February. They also had their chilli ride where you got take a scarab jet boat for a ride. Not sure what they did about the thin ice on the lake but a boat ride in November ,who cares about a little ice ! I missed it due to having to salt my route,we had freezing rain !
