Any of the 150 4 strokes are pretty dang reliable, the 115 and 150 classes are the most highly contested and all the manufactures really put their best foot forward in these class engines. Most powerful though, the 150 etec but don't buy into the "3 years without service" stuff. And as others have said, plugs are expensive, oil is expensive, resale value is lower, and if an injector goes bad (which they do!) is $$$. Personally I like the Suzuki 150 the best with the stout gearcase ratio and big 2.9L displacement but I wouldn't hesistate to hang any of the others on the back if the price was right.
