Finally got the other log cleaned on the pontoon so we splashed her and went for a little ride. After getting the 20+ gallons of water out of the rear section of the starboard toon, and cleaning the toons, we gained about 4mph based on GPS. We were topping out right at around 20 at the end of last year and I hit 24 on GPS now -- so I'm happy with that.

And putting the toon on the modified lift -- the new brackets I made for the rear bunk supports now keep the boat level on the lift. Actually, the boat leans just a little to the bow now so I may take those brackets back off and cut an inch off the bottom and redrill the bolt holes. This way any water that blows in will drain off the back of the boat.
