Our new (to us) JC Suntoon 23TT

#1 Post by lorisuemiller » Sun Mar 15, 2015 5:11 pm

I have been lurking out here for a while getting tips and advice from many of you as we considered our boat purchase. Yesterday, my husband and I bought our first boat, a 2005 JC Suntoon 23TT. We're so excited! She is beautiful and in fantastic condition for a 10 year old boat. I thought I would say 'thank you' for the advice and share some pictures.

Thank you, everyone! We are thrilled to death! The upholstery is in perfect shape and just needs a cleaning. It has a Honda 150hp that is so quiet and starts right up! We have to find a trailer. Wish it was a little easier to find manuals or specs on older JC models. I need to know the length of the middle toon. Anyone have any idea where to find that information for a 2005?

Nice ! I have a 2006 23tt "Neptune". JC's are very sold boats. You should be able to enjoy it for many, many years.

You will have so much fun. That boat is built really solid. When we visit Florida with our pontoon, we launch at the Navarre bridge. We usually rent a house on a canal just east of the bridge on the sound side. Where in Florida do you guys hang out?

We have not seen a tritoon in Florida yet. We winter near Lake Okeechobee. Most of the pontoons around there prove that old pontoons never die. They live on as fishing boats.
