Looking for the best way to manage the spray on my slide,,,

#1 Post by grouser » Thu Jun 11, 2015 11:16 am

I think my choices are
-continuous flow with on/off switch,
-motion sensor switch,
-or a push on with a timed spray interval
any other way of doing it??? Know where can I find any of these items ????
Thanks in advance !!

I'm an electronics guy. There are an unlimited number of approaches, including a microprocessor controlled sprayer, that varies the duration and interval based on air temperature, and relative humidity.

but a simple on/off switch is probably the appropriate solution.

You could always up the ante a little and wire in some color changing LEDs, play a MP3 of God Save the Queen over the stereo and kick off an air horn version of Dixie to go off all around the boat every time you flip the On/Off switch.

And of course, you could have worm-drive actuators which fully retract the slide into a fiberglass canoe on the roof...
