Family outting today!

Had our first family day today and took the kiddo out for the first time. He is 6 months old today. It was a little warm for him and he didn't like how cold the water was, so we'll have to adjust our time when we go to the lake for a bit. We were anchored up in a cove in front of some flooded grass, and decided, what the neck! On the second cast, I caught the guy below. He was a fighter and the kiddo didn't quite know what to think about a fish. That kiddo is my lucky charm! I never catch anything without him, and caught two with him! It was such a good day.

Good looking fish! looks like you guys had fun. young feller well get usto it he looks content! were on #3 now. happy boating, first time out for the season well be next weekend for us. CANT WAIT !

Thanks! I had no idea they were going to bite, but I got lucky I guess. It was one of the best trips I've ever had even though it lasted 2 hours
