Bimini buddy-- where to buy?

#1 Post by KLM » Thu Nov 20, 2014 1:10 pm

Hi all,

I am looking to buy a bimini buddy. However, the bimini buddy website is not working. Anyone know where I can purchase a bimini buddy? I am hoping to avoid the expensive factory front bimini. Help please!

In was seriously looking at a bimini buddy. Fortunately I found a local lady in craigsslist and had a front bimini made. Bimini buddy appears to be a pretty good product..

Bummer! I was at the site a couple of months ago looking for the same thing and now it is kaput. I did find out while there that they were selling bimini buddies only for a 8.5' beam pontoon. Mine is 8'. If you go the Craigslist route, I suggest you use searchtempest.com. With searchtempest you can search the whole country at once or just your local area. Pretty useful tool.

This suggestion isn't for a Bimini Buddy which does appear to be a nonexistent product as far as I could tell. But anyway you may want to consider getting a free standing Bimini to install on the front of you boat. NorthStar has a 8x8 available for as little as $295 frame and all.

The Bimini Buddy website is alive and well. I just ordered mine and received it quickly. I love it so far, and I'm glad I bought it!

Yeah, I know I could've gotten a cheaper 2nd bimini. But I don't have to modify the boat with this one. :biggrin2
