Pontoon Rail Bumper Problem

#1 Post by shadman » Thu Aug 27, 2015 5:23 pm

Anyone ever have a problem with the front rubber bumper on your pontoon bunching up when you pull the boat up against the trailer bumpers like in this picture below? The service group fixed it and then when I took out the boat again, it did the same thing again. I not sure what they did to try fix it but it didn't work.

Doesn't it slide in the channel? I have the same "family" of boat, being a Berkshire and it appears to have the identical aluminum edge frame and vinyl insert molding. I think it is just the width of the boat, plus a foot on each side to where their is a joint. Perhaps it has pulled from one side or the other???
