Floating canopy ideas?
Looking for ideas on how to make a floating canopy shade. Anyone done this or have suggestions? I was thinking about zip tying noodles to the legs of a pop up canopy.

We zip tied noodles from the Dollar Tree to a cheap pop up canopy and it worked really well!

crspang,
Thank You!!! that's what I was thinking. Looks like it works pretty good, anything you would do to make better?

Re: Floating canopy ideas?
I don't have any pictures but I've found that only two noodles per leg are necessary for my canopy. It's kind of a pain to deploy in open water so we only use it when we're rafted with other boats so we open it on the boats and then toss it in.
I also made a weight with four equal lenths of rope that I attach to the legs. It pulls the legs inward and keeps them square. It is a 10lb mushroom anchor with 12' leads.
