Central Georgia Marina

#1 Post by DWRAT » Sat Mar 18, 2017 10:41 pm

Anyone buy from Central Georgia Marina?
They advertise/sell on ebay with the best prices on Mercury outboards.
Just looking for some feedback.
Thanks

Most boaters believe JacosMarine.com have the lowest prices on Mercury engines. They give one day installation with appointments, and their mechanics are as good as it gets. Their pontoon boat line is Lowe.

Another Mercury dealer (Lawrenceburg Marine) is 1 mile from above, and he's a Bentley pontoon dealer--advertising nobody will beat their prices.

They're 85 miles south of Nashville and 40 miles north of Muscle Shoals in Lawrenceburg, TN.

I'm located in Arizona so I need to pay over the phone and have it shipped out.

I live about an hour from central ga marina.... but, honestly, I've never been in the dealership.... 'way back when' i was looking for a pontoon, i found they only dealt Bentley.... that's when people gave low opinions of them.... so, i never went inside... the lake they are on is not very large, and gets quite crowded with boats..... another reason i don't go there often at all

there's a few people on here from central georgia area, and certainly in the Macon / Warner Robins area.... see if you can send them a message, for their opinion

The dealership has been there as long as the lake has. The county dammed a creek decades ago and built the lake for recreation purposes. Small lake and it doesn't take long to run from one end to the other, but the place is 15 minutes from my house and instant gratification.

I have rented a wet slip there the past 18 months. Nice folks and a huge Bentley dealer. Frankly, I've been amazed at the number of new boat out there and then a few weeks later, they're gone, so he can move some inventory.

Other than that, all I can tell you is I had a Verado issue that the service department tended to promptly. It was was a warranty fix so I never saw a bill. He'll get my work next time I have an engine issue.

(478) 474-9995 is the phone if you want to call and talk to sales.

Hope this helps.
