Mike needs to get me some help on here

#1 Post by HandymanHerb » Wed Apr 16, 2025 6:43 pm

So while doing a Bronchoscopy on me to prove I did have non-small cell cancer in my right lung, since I also have had pulmonary fibrosis for years coming on, that is what killed my Mom, in runs in the family, so they can't treat the cancer, all they can do is slow it down and see which one takes me out first.

So while doing that, somehow that triggered me to have three mini strokes later on that day, and I lost control of my right hand and had a weak right leg for 24 hours, then spent four days in the hospital for them to try to figure out why?

But now I seem to be as normal and active as a guy can be at 70 with bad lungs, so I got behind on the sign-ups

Then on a pontoon problem, I been so busy I haven't been on my pontoon in many years, none of my friends are close of want to do water stuff any more, but talking to my brother he said he put a new battery in and can't get it to start, so I have to go check that and get on one the the lakes near him.

I guess the neutral safety switch of see if the kill switch is bad, can't remember it that would stop it from cranking, it is a Mercury 80, so if you can think of something else I need to check, please let me know.

Easier than I thought, I climbed on the after I got together with my Dad and brother and sisters that live in Fla and we all had dinner together.

8 o'clock I was in my suit, as none of the family never saw me in it, they are not close enough to my Church to see me there, and my brother said you want to check it now, I said yes and see if I can figure it out real quick, I hit the key and heard the starter running, I told my brother to remove the cover and saw the spur gear wasn't coming up to engage, told him to get some oil had him spin it by hand to get oil on the shaft and it came up to engage and crank.

It was an easy fix,
