This was a spur of the moment decision to go as I wasn't prepared yet in the preparation of the Hillbilly Yacht Floating Campspot. That should be obvious from the cluttered condition on board. All was a new experience and we began to get things sorted out and organized as we went along. Of course the next trip should go much smoother. I did learn some things (that I already knew but ignored) so next trip will be better. It's a good thing I had the Exec Officer along as she had to explain to the Captain that the battery probably wasn't down and that outboards almost always start easier if you put the shift in neutral first. What was really bad was that she had to do that twice. Of course I have only been boating a little over fifty years and a guy can't remember everything. LOL
