Ive ordered computer parts from them before if its the same Tiger Direct. Never had a problem with the things I have ordered and they always seems to ship pretty quick.

Thanks, found another site Don Rowe.com
They have a 1500 watt Xantrex for $109. They have a frequently asked questions link that give some good info. Best answers and explanations I have found on any inverter site, just thought I would share. I will either get it at Tiger Direct (Duracell) or the Xantrex at Don Rowe.
Thanks for the input.

Pep boys always has inverters on sale. I've got a 400 watt that has lasted a couple of years so far but that wouldn't meet your needs. I Don't know about the quality of the larger ones.

Received my inverter today. Hooked it up this evening and just plugged in a lamp, worked great. I will be doing some tests in the next few days to see how much run time I can get using various things. Price was $109 and free shipping, no tax. They have a special and if you order two it cuts the price down to 100 bucks each, pretty cheap for 1500 watts. The company is in Oregon so it took about 6 days to get here in Ga. Here is the link if anyone is interested
