I tend to "overbuild" everything, but I always say, "do it right, or do it over".

I had the convenience of having a neighbor that works at a fab shop, who "rolled" the slight curves into the angle iron for the steps for me. Everything else was done by me, including painting the step/winch stand with Automotive base/clear.

Thanks Woody -- great pictures of your new steps.

I'm actually in luck like you -- my neighbor works at a fab shop so I get a lot of things through him and I've already been talking to him about this project. I just needed to see some ideas of what others have come up with so I could get mine designed and give him the cut list.

I'll post pics up of the progress when things get started.
