Reminds me of a line from Brad Paisley's "Little Moments":

"And I can't even remember now what she backed my truck into,
But she covered her mouth and her face got red and she just looked so darned cute,
That I couldn't even act like I was mad,
Yeah, I live for little moments like that..."

Personally, I'd probably just live with that dent, as much as it would annoy me. Mine has a big dent like that on the bottom-rear of one toon from the previous owner. Fortunately it's only visible when on the trailer. C'est la vie.

I just make sure that my wife can see the trailer wheels in the mirror and have been out on miles of road trips with here around the house making turns and practicing. Took me a while to get her comfortable with making right turns at stop signs. She now can hadle it fine. Its hard to break the habit of only worring about where the front of the truck goes.

I won't fix the dent, it does not effect the performance. Beside, now you have a Free Pass for when you put a dent in the toon. :thumbsup

As far as turning it into insurance- Everytime some one turns in a small claim, they begin to accumulate. It will affect your rates sooner or later.

I'm not saying let's go kill all the stupid people.. I'm just saying let's remove all the warning labels and let the problem work itself out.

We all make mistakes. I just attempt to hold my composure and "bibomo". :biggrin2 Twice now I've shut my garage door with my SUV's lift gate up... ugh. not a good thing in my garage.

I have done this once. When we first got out 2006 Equinox, the very first week. I never had an SUV or anything with a lift gate before, it was open and I hit the button to close the door and SCRAPE down the hatch went the door pull rod, not really so much dented or scratched but more like a 'indent' in the clear coat and the big chrome center piece.

They are only new once and only perfect for so long before something happens..

FWIW, my wife grew up pulling horse trailers (2 and 4 horse along with hay wagons) so she's an expert at pulling/backing up, both sober or after a few adult beverages, pretty much perfect the first time every time. However this weekend she attempted to turn a corner too sharp and knocked over a 'marker light' that her Dad has in his ditch to mark his culvert.

If it bugs you fix it, if not live with it. Either way, its time to move forward.
