I hate it when a good truck gets killed so young, that's like my diesel, I got it with 26000 miles and still paid 33 thousand for it, but that was cheaper than the 55 they wanted new, people asked me how can I afford it, because it just might be the last one I have unless someone takes it out, I will put many miles on it and will try to get it to a million miles.

Hey I just noticed the name DB Cooper, come on you should have somehidden money some where :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl

You said it Herb! I'm sure mine will be rebuilt when it starts to go south. I'll probably keep it forever. Like I planned for my truck. Until last Tuesday morning, when I was wrecked by a dumbass. Poor thing!
Quick! Have the truck towed home where you can put the original engine parts back on there. Save the supercharger for the replacement truck. Oh, yea! It won't roll with the rear axle knocked out from under it. Sorry about that.

I sincerely know that losing a truck is really hurtful, especially if you have invested in so many improvements.

I'm too the proud owner of a diesel pickup. It's now been paid off 5 years, and I'm just up to 107K miles. I just hope my ego will let me drive it until it dies. I don't need another car payment that's more than my house payment. Now if I can just get my wife to quit driving those damned Lexus', I'll be in good shape.

You can keep up grading when you need to spend more money, for 15 thousand you can have a truck running 11's in the quarter with 800 horse to the rear wheels and still get 22 MPG when your not kicking in in the ass, with a tranny that bullet proof and all kinds of mods to make it last longer too.

These replies have been great! I appreciate your opions on these different toons. Yes 1roadking if things work out and I can find a tritoon benny with that esp package that would be ideal and be the best! It worries me not being able to find a toon like that for a good deal such as yours. We all have budgets and price ranges in our heads and mine is around $30k or less but if the perfect boat came along whats another $2-3K. You know anything less than 30k can go to the next toy! Gonefishing I like your boat sounds exactly what I'm looking for if the top level boats don't come in a a decent price. Just wondering how yours works for speed and and pulling a tube. My kids are 2,5,8 so they are little now but as they get bigger I wonder if that 115 will be enough hp. Once you get yours out I would like to know if you can go around 30 when going to your hot fishing spot and/or it is working good pulling a tube. I don't mind the side track onto a diesel truck as I have my own! 2008 Ford F-350 with 53,XXX miles and paid for two years ago. Need it for work as I own my own concrete business. Well like I said I appreciate all the advice as this is some of my first research. I need to sell one of the two lots I own before I jump into theis next purchase. So it may or maynot be awhile before you see pics of a toon of mine.

DB, 1 thing I learned from being in the car business is that people fixate on budget and don't get what they really want or need. In the end, the people with the means always come back and get what really suites them shortly there after and end up spending way more in the long run. I upped my budget into the low 30's on that premis and got what really fit my needs and have had no desire to upgrade. Just something to think about :nana

DB one route you could take to get a better price would be a rental. Thats what we did, our dealership sells off their rental fleet every year, and you get a great discount off the price of a new toon and still get a full warranty.

Yes we tend to get off subject at times but if we didn't we wouldn't have known about your diesel and we are willing to wait for you to find the right boat for you and yours, so the pictures can wait till you find it.
