Are you looking for a static color or RGB?

Hey guys and girls...looky what I just found! Contol your lights from your PHONE!!!!
http://www.environmentallights.com/led- ... -wifi.html
This thing is freakin' cool. I will be giving it serious consideration.
I installed the app and it looks great. A bunch of presets and a few more user programmable. Great speed control (1-8). Great dimmer control (1-8). Millions of colors with just a swype.
I should be able to scrap my existing controller and hook right into my RGBs.
Here's a Youtube:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3BEA5QmsJGA
The controller is about $200. You can also (I think) add on a router (with an app) for about $60 that will talk to a number of controllers and they have individual devices like bulbs that will also listen via wi-fi. This might mean blue lights on the deck with red and purple lights dancing in the water.
I knew that the future was coming fast--well here it is! Just the tip of the iceberg too. This company also does DMX for a bit more ching as well.

Very nice. I particularly like the music sync function of those. My old ColorStorm had that. But where's the Android App?????

I suppose I better toss my dumb phone in the drink and step up to new technology! I see I can even get an On-Star app to remote start my new truck from anywhere. I better go shopping!

In order to run RGB's, you would need almost 4 full 16' rolls of the RGB strip lights at $119.99/ea, then to make them change you'd have to add the RGB Controller and wireless remote for an additional $60. These spools are nice because they can be cut and terminated every 3 inches. You can terminate every piece you cut giving you lots of flexability.

I also buy prebuilt kits from the same company selling them to Bennington, they only come in Blue LED which is the only thing the OEM's will buy. The largest kit they make is 22' in length, you you'd receive 2- 22' LED strips, plastic mounting channel, and 10ft of wire preterminated to the strips. That kit is $239
http://www.rvboatparts.com/product/1115 ... d-kit-blue The reason I like this kit so much is that it includes a plastic mounting channel that can be screwed, nailed or stapled to the underdeck of the toon. It provides a much better hold than all the kits that just come backed with 3m tape.
