Yes. The nosecone eyelets are notoriously weak and can't handle side-to side stress. Lots of 'toons up here are all bent to sh$t, lol.

I sure want to be clear on this.

The damaged boat was tied by a welded ring in the tube like this

Which was ripped out by some lateral forces during a rough day!!

On our boat they are only at the front of the tubes and we always anchor using them.

We also have these all the way around our boat that we use to tie to the docks with.
They have 3 bolts through the rub rail and plywood decking. They have heavy metal backing on both sides. Enough force could yank them out also, I presume.

On the back corners we have what looks like conventional cleats with heavy metal backing.

Tying up the boat can be a bit tricky.

Top pic: weld looks great, but the log itself is thin metal. That's where they bend or break off.

Pic 2: These are stronger, Tracker factory rep told me to use these as well as the port and aft midship cleat (has a welded in thick backer from factory).

Pic 3: These are ideal.

When my boat was damaged, #2 and the log (mid ship) cleat was strong enough to rip out the marina's dock cleats. My 1/2 inch lines were still intact and still tied to the marina's ripped out dock cleats. :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl

Everything else was messed up though :rofl :rofl :rofl
