We love our SunTracker. Hated our dealer, but SunTracker came through for us!

Our Sun Tracker has been a great boat. No complaints on the boat, can't say that about the Merc.

We bought an 18' Party Barge from The Bass Pro Shop in Las Vegas. Couldn't be happier with both. The two Non- BPS dealers we looked at didn't have the selection, and were reluctant to change motors. All their stock came with 40hp motors, I wanted a 75. BPS in Las Vegas didn't even balk. I got a higher trade for my Seadoo boat from them. We paid their 'one price fits all' deal, but they gave us a 40% discount on any accessories we bought with the boat, and a 20% discount card for a year. We bought an 18 footer because it fits in our garage when not on the water. Everything works, nothing has not worked exactly like they said it worked. I installed a GPS speedo, not really sure why, but now I know how fast I'm not going. We traded in a 70mph boat. We can seat 9 and still have room for enough food and beverage to feed half the Chinese Army. Our grand kids absolutely love the barge. Should have gotten rid of the 'go fast' boats years ago for a pontoon.

We love the boat and would buy another one in a minute. If our boat had not come with strakes I'm not sure we would have bought it but I'm sure glad we did. This summer I was offered more money for the boat then I paid for it new. Sun Tracker is losing a lot of sales by no longer offering the 21' boats with strakes. We have not had any problems with the motor but I would have liked to try the same boat with a optimax.

The NV hull is quite a performer. Your 90 hp boat shows how efficient they were, as you're as fast as a 115 hp with 25" toons and strakes. Too bad their no longer available.

My wife and I knew we were newbies so we agreed to go cheaper. Better to find out what we wanted and didn't want on a cheaper boat than to sink a small fortune into something we'd regret. I really felt we were settling a lot more than it turned out we did. The boat is sound, performs well and is actually very comfortable for the price. Aside from wanting a third toon and a bigger outboard, I've been able to change most of the things we felt were missing or incompatible and it suits the original requirements we agreed on completely. Our experience at Bass Pro wasn't bad really. They made sure we qualified for some discounts, gave us a $1000.00 gift card and the usual VIP membership all of which came in very handy outfitting the boat. Granted our salesman was not an old salt and used a cheat card to discuss the boat's options, but he was very friendly and honest about it. I haven't had to deal with the service department but I'm crossing my fingers for the future.

As much as I like the South Bays and Benningtons, as of now I'm convinced I'd have no reservations upgrading to a Regency.
