Hydraulic steering?

Bamby, you're probably right on. Considering the dealer who sold me the boat and a trailer that didn't fit it (still waiting for SunTracker to swap it out!), I'll ask our local "Boat Man" to check out the steering first. I bet it wasn't set up right in the first place. Arnold Schw...would have a tough time steering it right now! Thanks!

It's not really a matter of right or wrong, periodic cleaning and re-lubing a boats steering components should be a PM maintenance carried out on any boat on a regular basis.

I'm seeing $525 on Amazon right now for the Baystar kit. Not bad.
