I do not think my kids would have enjoyed boating much if we only had a 20 HP motor on our boat either. That in itself would kill the fun for most adults as well.
Buy a bigger motor! You family will then start to like boating! The dealer should never have sold a boat with a 20 HP unless it was for a restricetd lake.

I'm not saying let's go kill all the stupid people.. I'm just saying let's remove all the warning labels and let the problem work itself out.

Why not do both? We have 3 trips booked for Raystown next year already and that is not including April and October camping. You can't be very far from the lake (south central PA). I can give you lots of tips... and your family will be glad you kept the boat!

My wife's been pushing me for a slightly used 5th wheel to replace our 18 year old travel trailer. We too are into the country club type camping--washer/dryer and cable tv in the camper are mandatory.
We just returned from the North GA Mountains Tuesday, and it's continuous repairs on the old trailer. Still love going to our member owned campground even though we can seldom get up there. It was our weekend home for years while living an hour away in Atlanta area.
Maybe we'll get that 5th wheel when the Benny and my daughter's car are paid for. Otherwise, we'll just hang in here living

Its not sold yet.....Not trying too hard. (If you know what I mean.) Just cause the little lady wants it gone, doesn't mean I can find a buyer. I still own both boat and camper. Its a horrible time to sell a boat (that's why its for sale now). By Spring, I'll pay the slip fees and try again next fall.

Big Daddy, In that case.....this is the BEST time to (try) to sell a boat!!!

My wife just told me if we don't sell it this year, financially it wont be worth getting rid of it and she wants me to get a full enclosure put on it for next summer. Darn near got a chub when she told me that. WOW the stars must be aligning....I didn't see that coming. The only thing would top that news would be getting lucky later on tonight.....wish me luck!
