That is why I was asking about the ability to collapse or fold down these radar arches. If they can be lowered/tilted forward easily, then I like them. They seem like a great place to run lighting, speakers, a sturdy place to anchor bimini tops, etc. I see all kinds of uses. However, if they are permanently tall, then I would not want one.
The arches I seen at this years boat show all flooded down with a pair of gas struts to help!

Thanks. I noticed the one in the recent post about that really expensive South Bay on Craigslist said its tower folded down as well. I figured they must fold down, but I had never seen one in the down position. Thanks again for the info.
