Jason:

I just bought my first boat a couple years ago and had zero boating experience. I purchased a 25 foot Harris Tritoon with a 150 Verado motor. I didn't want to end up buying something and wishing for something else! I haven't regretted for a moment buying a larger toon and bigger motor. We can do everything with this toon including ski-ing.

Heres my advice:

Go big

Don't worry about anyone at the boat ramp when you trailer your boat. I have found great people that understand new boaters take more time due to no experience...I have also found jerks that for some reason are in a hurry and add tension to the process....I usually totally ignore them. My point is don't worry about making a lot of mistakes initially...thats how we become experienced boaters!

Good luck!!!
