OK, got the boat, minor issues that Crest is taking care of. I gave up on contact with Fox Lake Harbor and I am now dealing directly with the director of Crest pontoons. He has been great, shipping replacement parts to my house , staying in contact, supplying tracking numbers etc.
He offered to pay a dealer local to where I keep the boat, which is 4 hours from Fox lake , to do the repairs but I told him I would rather do it myself. I am way more anal , and capable than any of the yard guys who work on boats around our area.
The only big issue right now is my tach is not reading right . I am working on a Merc Monitor reimbursement with them to replace the tach. I need accurate RPM to prop correctly. 46 mph right now at 5000 on tach which is not correct. Motor should run 5800-6400.
The dealer has been useless, sales guy Brannon , nice guy , typical sales, full of BS. Warren, the owner, was supposed to contact us numerous times .Never responded to any communication we sent to him. I would highly recommend you stay away from this dealership.
