Ha Ha Ha!!! We were visiting family around Manitowoc, WI several years ago, and the local news was all about the "Culture of Drinking" in Wisconsin. We just laughed, until we saw a guy in the restaurant order a Bud with his breakfast. :paranoid

If you're ever back in Manitowoc, make sure and eat at the "Green Street". Nice little Bar/Restaraunt.

You sit at the bar with a number and give them your order while you have some drinks and visit with the locals.

When your table is ready, you go into the dining room and your salad is waiting on you.

Then comes soup, then in our case, steaks and potato's and then desert.

Wouldn't mind driving all the way back up there just for the Green Street.

Check out the prices......

Oh and Breakfast? Go to D&K's Cafe. They bring you a jar of their home made jam or jelly for your biscuits.

We were there for our 20th Anniversary and rode the Badger Ferry across to Ludington MI. Nice riding the last coal fired steam ferry in America.
