Installed them at the lake yesterday. Very easy to install and they look great! We tested them out at the fuel dock when we filled up. Worked great and my wife loves them, which makes things easier. LOL!!! Great product!

We got the 4 pack of these off Amazon:

Not sure how long they will hold up in the sun and heat but, for now they work.

Thanks, Tom! They do. First thing Denise said after I fumbled around with the first few designs was "Wow, these make it easy!" What she said stuck in my head when I was trying to name them. Now I need to design a EzHoliday, to take the stress out of this time of year.

Love it! My wife is a 3 time breast cancer survivor and chemo and radiation has taken a toll on her over the last couple of years and putting the bumpers out on our old boat, which involved cleats was tough for her and she says this makes it so much easier now.

I'm sorry to hear that, and hope she is doing fine, now. Denise is doing well with hers. She is a real trooper. Fingers are crossed for all survivors and those recently diagnosed with this rotten disease, that an easier way of detection and correction can be found, soon. I know what you mean about tying off from cleats. And steering wheels, and grab bars and seat loops. We used every means to tie off bumpers when we rafted and docked and went through damns. I knew there was a better way. Just had to try this and it worked perty good! Best to the wife, Tom... Bryan

I’ve well-understood that EZ Fenders have the enthusiastic endorsement of many members of this forum. Could some of you provide specifics as to what makes them so easy to use?

I’ve looked at the images and they look rather slow and inconvenient to me: thread the rope through each time? Screw down to secure? Then repeat process in reverse to remove each fender? I’m wondering if I’m misunderstanding something about how to use them because one poster noted typing a knot in the end of the rope so you don’t lose the fender. If you tie a knot, how do you then thread it through the EZ Fender?

I’m wondering why folks don’t use a snap clip and footman’s loop - pretty much instant to attach and detach.

Thanks for your help.

A lot of people choose to leave their bumpers installed all the time and just raise/lower them depending on if underway or docking. Those people are the ones they are marketed towards.

My bumpers are what I refer to as "MR. BUMPER"....I think they're 27" and I didn't realize how big they were when I ordered them. They're almost big enough that the county tried to charge me property tax on them. Anyway, I stow them in my center tube storage when not docked and don't change their height so use the Shoreline quick releases from Walmart, under $4 a pair.

I use the EZFender and would NEVER (unless I forgot) cruise with fenders hanging out why I cruise. I have three on each side, and all I do is grab the fender line, slip it through the eye of the EZfender and tighten. Repeat to remove. It takes about 10 seconds per fender. It's not near the hassle you think it is. And in case you're wondering the knob that you screw/unscrew to tighten the line on the EZfender is made so you can't unscrew it too far and accidentally lose it.

My ez fenders should be here any day. I don't use fenders too often but there are times I need them. I always end up at random docks when they are needed so quick adjustments / storage are key !

Rumor has it "ez fender" fender lines may be available shortly!
