14 Pitch Enertia was a bust. 5400 RPMs and only 26.4 MPH, more slip than the 15 pitch prop and slower. I sent it back and paid the rental fee for it. I'm probably going to Simonize and get to 120HP and then chase props. In the mean-time I got a 13 Pitch Spitfire for pushing the heavy pontoon, which is my mode about 90% of the time. I will pull the ECU when I know I'm going to be down for the 10 days or so it takes to ship-burn-ship back. Then like I said chase the prop.

How did the custom prop work out, Mike?

Underskinning is a must--definitely smoothes out the ride and may even give you a little lift. I actually hit 30 one day on Sam Rayburn--and was heading into the wind--downwind I could do 29. Now I do 29 into the wind and 27-28 with the wind. Try it if you have underskinning.
