Mike I can handle constructive critizism I've been at this for 3 years. I've heard just about everything that can be said about it. But that's not what some were doing here. Once you guys heard PDB it turned into a PDB which hunt. A fact I couldn't have possibly known about. Some were just being mean spirited, and I can do it too watch...

Hey badmoonrising

How did you come up with that name? Did you bend over in front of a mirror and get a look at your big fat ass or did you suck John Foggerty's dick and he let you borrow the copyright.

Hey lakerunner

I don't know how you figure you told me anything before over there because I never posted posted on a forum before now. Stupidity like that comes from a desiese called urinitus so stop drinking your own piss and it'll go away.

Anyone can do that...

And for your information that wack you hear when the back of the cover comes down
is not the sound of it hitting the cowll. There's a latch that locks it into place when it comes down.So you guys need to get your fucking ears checked too.
This kind of post is why you will never be successful in buisness! While you may take offense to some of the posts, you have just shown your true colors and I would never buy anything from someone like you...

Malcom or his brother, man didn't take him long to show his true color's, now over on PDB this would have been deleted.

But I think we make it a feature piece, to show what happens when you try to help people from the other side.

Yes we all think saying PDB is going to run a story on it means you paid to have it done and we seen what they would have had in the mag, your site clip and pasted.

But thanks for Playing, Lakerunner tell him what he takes home for being on the show.

Retractable hang in there, some of the guys on here seem to live to find fault with anything they didn't think of or like. I'm sure you had hoped for constructive criticism and idea's. You did get some worth while idea's. Keep at it and see if you can over come the major objections and develop a marketable product. Being 75 years old I would love to have a cover that was easier to use than the snap on cover I have now. It's a bear to put on when it's 90 plus degrees. On my lake I can't have a covered slip that costs less that about $7K. I know because I've priced them. So your price installed would have to beat that by a bunch and be reliable. Good luck and don't give up. :2cents

For the price you can build a cover to keep boat under.

Ok I apologize for being so blunt. I should have said I am worried about the front of boat getting damage when power loading. Can you enlighten me on this?

I built a 25X40 prefab barn to keep my toon under for $4,200.00, it also is big enough for both our cars. I should have said I have concerns on the cost as it is very expensive.

Thanks oldmn I appriciate that. My boat cover system will cost less then half that. I'm targeting a begginning price of around $2995. We'll see where it goes. But just to let you know when we go into production we are going to have a program for seniors like yourself to sell a couple hundred units for just above cost to help out older people who enjoy pontoon boating and our on a fixed income. thanks again

I went looking for the web site myself and watched the video, if that cover does not hit the cowling you need to take the sound out of the vid, it sounds terrible. Retractable, for what it's worth I think you have a product that will appeal to a certin demographic.
Geeze man nut up a little and be ready for some critism, if I fit into the above demographic I would not give you a dime after reading the shit you typed here.

Lakerunner thanks for the second chance. As I posted above $2995 is my target price. I haven't got all my production bids back. It could be a little higer or lower. But I'm sure you've seen plenty of new products come out on the market with a higher price in the beginning and it goes down later. it"s because in the beginning it's hard for a buisness starting out to afford the large production runs on parts necessary to create a lower price. As for this perticular model it is a prototype and most of it I made myself. I designed and machined most of the parts. Except for some of the engineering was done by far smarter people the me. Before the cover system goes into production we are going to complete a reverse engineering stage which should take care of all the remaining flaws astetically and mechanically. Which is why I'm trying to get opinions from everyday pontoon boat lovers like yourself. So maybe you can help me identify somthing I've overlooked,so I can make the end product more positive of a user expierence for the customer. Thank you for your question. I appriciate that.

Snider 4 thanks for your question, You're right I went too far. As far as the video is concerned it was difficult for me to come to that conclusion because I know why it's happening but I can now see how someone can have that point of view and I've contacted the web designer to get it taken out. Thanks for your help with that.

Snieder, I suppose you feel badmoon and lake runner were being civil with there comments? In my opinion badmoon likes being the head jerk on here and he's entitled to his opinion, but why be so obnoxious about it. Flaming some one is hardly acting like a grown up and if you do and get it back maybe you were wrong in the first place. :drama
