All the camps used to have "nice" covered stalls for rent in the old days. But when the river opened up everyone left the lakes for the river, it was closer. The old stalls started falling apart and the owners said "hell with it" and I don't care anymore. There were weeks when Bistineau was still full of water that you did not see another boat all week long. Not like the old days when there were a hundred or more. I don't see any slip rental around here except for house boats and they are not slipped just grounded and tied up. If they ever get our lake opened back up and full of water (if it would rain) we could use our boat. This is the third year I have not had the boat out. I'm afraid to go uncover it to see how dirty and mildew covered the seats are. My boathouse is three years old and I have only used it one summer. I don't even know if my lift still works.

jimrs, thanks for the reply... guess I'll just keep my eyes open.. maybe someday in the not to distant future someone will open up some kind of "full service" marina on the louisiana side of Caddo... that's a shame about not getting your boat out in 3 years....I think I remember seeing some pics of when your boat house / lift was installed.. that's a nice setup... wish I had one...
