Ironic. Just got a call from my mother-in-laws doc and he said the exact same thing. :lol3

That's exactly why I bought a used boat for my first one. So far my biggest oopsie was frying the regulator/rectifier on the motor when I shorted out the electrical on an exposed nav light in the bimini frame. I'd rather make my mistakes on a $10K boat than my ideal $45K boat.

We all have to learn at some point. You are doing great with all of your learning.

Thank you! :)

Yea when going for my first boat, I had the same thinking as you....go used and get the mistakes out of the way. Id rather bang up my $2,500 boat than a $25k boat

Good job...not a "bad" day when everything comes out alright...it's a learning day...we ALL do it. I learned one of the alarms was a low oil alarm...I always keep extra on the vessel and added quickly... :scared
