Well when I had the PC, I couldn't tow it to my secret fishing spots. Now with a 22 foot 'toon that I can tow anywhere, no need for another boat to maintain/register/upkeep. Plus, Cheryl wants the parking spot under the carport that the PC took up, lol.

The Stacraft will sell quick. New owner is getting new stainless, new upholstery, paint, aluminum trailer, etc. even the matching Sun Tracker cup holders that belonged to the PC :rofl

Ed, I think in the long run you will be happy with the vinyl.... My son has carpet on his toon and if you don't keep after it - it will look pretty nasty over a short period of time ( at least it does on his boat because of people boarding all the time while it's beached )... I have vinyl and pretty much all I do is pull into one of those do it your self car wash bays and power wash it... I've had a couple of fishing stains that took a stiff bristle brush to remove, but even then it wasn't bad.... like the looks of your toon... I'm sure Ethan will be driving it in no time...

You're going to love it, Ed. An ice chest fits perfectly under the dog house. I got the tube, tow line and inflator in that compartment at the rear of the port side bench seat. Mine has full carpet, but out here in the desert, dampness and mold isn't an issue.

The first thing I did with mine was put a plug in the wires to the top navigation light, so I can remove the pole and stow it if I'm not cruising at night.

Underskinning is definitely in my future. You can feel the spray hitting the bottom of the deck frames.

I'm also considering installing a glove box in the helm. No place to stow glasses, wallet, registration, etc. except under the seats.
