Bumper stickers anyone?

#1 Post by bug73 » Sun Dec 28, 2008 1:54 pm

Who all would be interested in Bumper stickers for the site? And how much would they be worth? What would everyone like to see on them? I am going to talk to a few shops around here and see what I can do.

I was thinking somehting like "Lets talk Pontoons" and then our website address underneath, but I dont want o exclude the deck boat people so I need some ideas.

I found a couple of sites online that have them for what would come to about 2.50 or so each maybe a bit more, then there would be shipping. I would only sell them to everyone for what they cost and ship...of course no profit for me so I would need to know what everyone would like on them and how much they would pay so I can get the best quote. I think a local shop might be able to beat the price but I will check around and see. Some of the internet sites want something like 125 min order but I dont think I want to do that if we can get out of it.

I don't use bumper stickers at all. They look like crap in a short time and a bitch to remove

Thats why when I do use them, I put them on my window, they scrap right off with a scraper no harm done.

You buy the vinyl stickers and they last and you can remove them, I still keep them on glass or chrome if I do run one so you get no paint new spots, while the rest has faded.

Hey bug73....or anyone else that cares. How about this idea, I am sure you have seen the european style stickers that are white ovals then have a black lettering? How about one for here that says "PDF" Pontoon Deck Forum, I know of a company that can work wonders or the price for you if you can PM me with no strings attached......I have seen this forum but never joined, and I am a member of another site and would love to be here if you guys don't mind and would welcome me.

Thanks

I have a side company that is a Specialty Advertising Company and I wouldn't mind do them for cost. Anyway, cool site ...i am still tooling around checking everything out. I am having fun with my toon and repainting the motor this winter in my garage so I might be online to ask some questions later...you know like how to get paint out of my hair and eyes maybe! Good to chat C ya for now!

Good to know, if we ever do something can you only make bumper stickers or can you do other stuff? Maybe someone wants to setup a group buy on decals or whatever down the road?

We can do anything from car window flags to Pole flags....anything we would want with any name we want can be done. I am on another forum for my motorcycle and got with the owner of the site and helped him with some shirts for some give aways and crap, I just like to be on good forums and help out. Just incase you don't already know this....I am not doing it for self promotion, more than likely depending on what the item is it could be free to you guys! :givebeer

Hey Thanks sammtoon!!!!!!

Did you say you could do flags? what size? I know at one time there was an interest for flags, maybe a flag with a logo we can decide on, I know I would be interested in one...I have a 4 foot stars and stripes I like to fly sometimes on the boat but I would like to have something else on the other side as well, thought about a pirate flag but something that would promote the site would be cool!!
