In the past, I've been plagued with low speed jet issues do to some bad fuel, that had actually coagulated in the bottom of my tank. I chased it for a year, and got pretty good at cleaning the carbs. Everything has been quite since. We were having two friends over for the 4th, which was to involve a rendezvous wtih some neighbors at a local beach, a short trip away.
Well, due to them having engine problems, we ended up with 11 people (full load), cooler and other beach stuff on the toon. That 50HP Yamaha was huffing. It took a bit longer to get to the beach, but she did it, and we had a blast, and made it home too. No more carb isssues. I was sweating it at first when I found out everyone was riding wtih us. I didn't want to be the one to spoil the 4th.
The little engine that could.

You came to the rescue and everyone had a good time. It doesn't get any better than that.
